In an effort to create this fluid effect on the shapes, I used a hinge-making technique I learned in a Product Design course. To create the hinges I used the boolean difference command to form divots in some of the shapes. This project helped me gain an understanding and appreciation for cryptography and its real world use cases for secure network communications and applications, like Bitcoin. The best aspect about Munchies is that the bag features an assortment of chips, so I decided to focus my campaign on a narrative about group dynamics. To develop this storyline, I created a spoof reality tv show with characters based on each chip from the Munchies bag. For this campaign, I launched Twitter accounts for users to keep up with the ongoing storylines on “Munch Island”. I also created interactive Instagram accounts, designed “Island Edition” Munchies bags, and point of purchase displays that all tied into the group dynamic theme. We wanted to send the message that Ben & Jerry’s has the super power ability to bring people together and create bonds. For this campaign, we created a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Social App, where users can find new friends in their area to share a tub of ice cream. Additionally, we designed a line of “World Wide Flavors” that incorporate desserts from all around the globe as Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors. I worked as a designer and strategist in my group, as well as assisted with copy writing. Campaign I designed a campaign for Jones Soda Co targeting adults 35 - 45 because that is an underperforming demographic for Jones Sodas. The project consisted of a creative brief, brand analysis, new microsite page for the company, media plan, three traditional print advertisements, and one non-traditional advertisement. My team and I created a complete campaign including a brief, creative executions, media plan, etc. and presented it to a panel of judges. This campaign plan has now been implemented into the Broadway Metro business.
